Positive Discipline

Positive Discipline is an approach to more than just teaching or education, but to how to get along with everyone in my opinion. Based on the work by Alfred Adler and Rudolph Dreikurs, Jane Nelsen first published her book “Positive Discipline” in 1981 and today there are versions aimed at teens, teachers, you name it.

The basic concepts; that everyone wants to belong, have a voice and contribute, really spoke to me, I’ve always thought that teaching, and life in fact is about connecting with others.

Here’s a ton of resources and I fully recommend reading the books available, or even better, attending a training session.
